Miscellaneous Info:

The Enok 5.4 vehicle is based upon the Mercedes-Benz G 280 cdi chassis and was developed under Class 1 (Enok 1) & Class 2 (Enok 2) of the German Bundeswehr’s Protected Command and Multi-Purpose Vehicles (GFF) program. The 5.4 designation appears to be in reference to the gross weight/capactiy of the vehicle.

The vehicle is available in a number of configurations including three and four-door vehicles with armored crew compartment but unprotected rear body section, a fully armored three door vehicle and a fully armored five-door vehicle.  The Enok is named after the Asian Raccoon Dog.

At the time of creating this vehicle index, ACS had just created the Enok II 7.5 Experimental Vehicle.  Although the Enok 1 & 2 5.4 and the Enok 2 7.5 share names, they are quite different vehicles as the later vehicle is based on the heavier/more robust Mercedes-Benz UNIMOG truck chassis instead.
