Miscellaneous Info: The Mamba Mark 1 was a 4x2 vehicle which used Toyota Dyna 4 truck components On the other hand, the Mamba Marks 2 & 3 are 4x4 vehicles that used Mercedes-Benz UNIMOG 416-162 truck components, the same as the Buffel APC's.  The Mark 5 has upgraded armor and automotive components and uses either IVECO or Magirus vehicle components. Finally, the Mark 7 is further upgraded and is built in the United States. 

Besides the base APC, the Mamba is available in a few different variants (depending on Mark/Version) including Ambulance, Command/Control, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, IED Interrogator Arm Vehicle, Light Recovery Vehicle, Security, VIP Escort/Transport and Weapons Platform.  The Mamba is commonly confused with its related successor, the RG-31 Nyala, as they look very similar. The Mamba Mark 3 was also succeeded in production by the
Springbuck and Oryx APC’s.
