Miscellaneous Info: The AMX-10RC was built as a new reconnaissance vehicle to replace the old EBR Vehicles in use from the 1950's.  It is fully amphibious.  In 2005 completely upgraded vehicles were fielded which include improved armor, mechanical systems and communications; among other things.  There are referred to as the AMX-10RC "Renove" (AKA: AMX-10RCR).
