Some of the roles suited to the Duro IIIP series include ambulance, armored personnel carrier/troop transport, command vehicle, EOD vehicle, logistics vehicle, mobile C3 stations, weapon tractors, etc. Present users include Denmark (Ambulance), Germany (Ambulance, EOD, LUNA UAV Launch & Landing and Protected Military Police Vehicles) and Switzerland (Engineer, EOD, Troop Transport & NBC Detection/Reconnaissance Vehicle). Germany fields the improved Yak Armored Multipurpose Vehicle, which is also based upon the Duro IIIP platform.  Incidentally, some of the German Duro IIIP vehicles have been subsequently upgraded to some Yak vehicle-level performance standards.
