Miscellaenous Info: The LAV R is the Repair and Recovery vehicle in the United States Marine Corps family of Light Armored Vehicles (LAV) and was one of the initial six (6) variants procured.  The LAV-R is fitted with a myriad of repair and recovery equipment, most notably interior lighting and workbench and roof-mounted hydraulic crane (capacity 6,600 lbs) and a winch (capacity 33,000 lbs).
