Miscellaneous Info: The Special Operations Vehicle (SOV) is a private venture by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) using a Bremach Industries (of Italy) light truck chassis. The SOV is an air-transportable utility vehicle primarily envisioned for reconnaissance and light attack by Special Forces.  However, due to its modularity of design (using different mission modules), it can also be built into alternate versions/variants including Protected Transport Vehicle, Protected Pick-Up and Protected Re-Supply Vehicle ("Mothership"). The vehicle has a basic level of armor and mine protection standardized, but can be up-armored based upon a user's unique specifications.  Although not in service with any country at the time of writing (2018), the SOV was tested by Austrian and German Special Forces.
