| Miscellaneous Info: | The ADGZ was originally used by the Austrian Military and Police (approximately 27 cars). The original designation of the vehicle was M35 Mittlere Panzerwagen, However, after the Austrian "Anschluss" in 1938, the vehicles were incorporated into some units of the Waffen SS. Aftterwards in 1942, the SS ordered an additional 25 vehicles for use. After the German invasion of Russia, a number of turrets from captured T-26 Tanks were mounted instead. They were armed with a 45mm Cannon and co-axial 7.62mm DT Machine Gun |
