Miscellaneous Info: The Dozor-B Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) was first commenced in either 2004 or 2007, depending on the source of information.  "Dozor" in Ukrainian is translated as "Guardian" or "(The) Watch" in English.  Although in its main role was as an APC, it could also perform other duties, including casualty evacuation, command/control, Nuclear/Biological/Chemical (NBC) reconnaissance, patrol and reconnaissance. In addition, there was an unarmored utility/general-purpose vehicle produced, which was named the Dozor-A.  However, it is unclear if any were ever purchased or went into service. Regardless of the Dozor-B's beginning date, its development was very slow and didn't get produced in any number until 2014-2015. By 2015, approximately 200 Dozors were supposed to have been put into service. Unfortunately, its long development period didn't appear to have helped and only a few vehicles were completed.  This was due to poor performance and funding issues, and all Ukrainian orders were reportedly cancelled in 2016.

However, in the mid to late 2010's, a group consisting of Lacenaire Limited Company of Malta and MISTA SP of Poland contracted to license produce the Dozor-B. That vehicle is named the Oncilla Multi-Purpose Dual-Axle 4x4 APC.  An Oncilla is small cat from Central/South America, also called the Northern Tiger Cat, Little Spotted Cat, or Tigrillo.   Like the Dozor-B, it can perform other duties as above.  However, it has also been fitted with equipment to perform those of a Riot/Police Vehicle.  Unlike the Dozor, its performance was good and a few were sold to Senegal and surprisingly, to Ukraine.
