Miscellaneous Info: The Ford Model T car and pickup were in great use by the British and Commonwealth armies during World War One. Thusly, it's no surprise that the vehicles were both armed and armored.  The armed variant (with no armor) was built using the 8 cwt pickup due to its greater payload. The vehicles in use by the Motor Machine Gun Service (MMGS) on the Western Front were called the Machine Gun Carrier.  On the other hand, the cars in use by the Light Car Patrols in the Middle East were named Light Patrol Car. Although their use on the Western Front was fairly limited, the Light Patrol Cars were extensively used in the desert environment of Arabia and Palestine to great effect.
