Miscellaneous Info: | The Gnat was designed to replace armed motorcycles for reconnaissance. It was based upon the Hillman 10hp Light Utility Truck ('Tilly'), which itself was built upon the chassis and design of the Hillman Minx 10 HP automobile. Only four (4) Gnats were built, but they never went into serial production or saw action. |
