Miscellaneous Info: | The vehicle was based on the proven Land Rover Series 2 and 2A short wheel base (88 inch) chassis; although most were produced on the 2A. This vehicle was the primary medium-range anti-armour weapon of Royal Australian Regiment until retirement. Although, difficult and dangerous to crew, it was highly respected by its crew due to its exceptional effectiveness, even into the 1990's. |
