| Miscellaneous Info: | The M1132 Engineer
Squad Vehicle (ESV) is the Stryker Series variant designed to be used by
engineering units to provide support for U.S.forces. Mine clearing devices that can
be mounted on the ESV include the Angled Mine Plow (AMP), Light-Weight
Mine Roller (LWMR), Surface Mine Plow (SMP) and Straight Obstacle Blade
(SOB). Over its lifespan, the ESV has been upgraded with improvements to
armor and automotive components a number of times. The ESV is one of
the vehicles that has been fitted with the new Double-V Hull (DVH) to
protect against Improvised Explosive Devices (IED's). The vehicles
fitted with the DVH are referred to as the M1257 ESVV and the vehicles
with added enhancements as outlined in the Engineering Proposal Change
