| Miscellaneous Info: | The M1133 Medical
Evacuation Vehicle (MEV) is the ambulance in the Stryker vehicle
series. It contains enough room to
accommodate the two-man vehicle crew, a medical orderly and four (4)
stretcher bound wounded OR six (6) sitting wounded OR a combination of
the two types. The MEV is one of the vehicles that has been fitted with
the new Double-V Hull (DVH) to protect against Improvised Explosive
Devices (IED's). The vehicles fitted with the DVH are referred to as
the M1254 MEVV and the vehicles with added enhancements as outlined in
