Miscellaneous Info: | At the beginning of World War One, like the other belligerents, the Belgians started creating rudimentary armored cars for the conflict. In this case, the Mors automobile chassis was used to create the Mors Model 1915 Armored Car (also referred to as the Auto-Canon). The Belgians contracted French firms to build the vehicle with approximately a dozen produced. Like the British, once the Western-Front became a static battlefield, the Belgians also sent units to the Russian Front which were equipped with armored cars, including the Mors. |
