Miscellaneous Info: The R-1 Rescue All-Terrain Vehicle (RATT) was only used by US Air Force Special Tactics Squadrons.  It was a lightweight, highly mobile vehicle used for the transport/treatment of wounded, light strike missions and general utility purposes.  Only fourteen (14) were built before being supplanted by the Guardian-Angel Air-Deployable Rescue Vehicle (GAARV).
