| Miscellaneous Info: | The Supacat *All-Terrain Mobile Platform can be used in multiple roles including troop/cargo transport and as a weapons platform. It is airportable and has limited amphibious capability.The weapons platform is designated SUPACAT WMIK and was only limited service with the British, probably with units such as the Royal Marines and Parachute Regiments WMIK is an acronym for "Weapons Mount Installation Kit" which was designed by Ricardo Special Vehicles, Ltd for the purpose of allowing the vehicle to carry heavy weapons. The WMIK variant is used mostly by Royal Marines and Special Forces. |
