| Miscellaneous Info: | The development of this series of 6-wheeled vehicles started in approximately 1930 with tests on Daimler-Benz and Bussing-NAG 1.5 ton truck chassis. The production vehicles were eventually mounted on the Daimler Benz G3A, Bussing-NAG G31P and Magirus M206A truck chassis and were originally accepted into army service as Kfz 67/67A (Fu) and 67b Kraftwagen. These vehicles were the predecessor of the Sdkfz 231/232 Fu Heavy Armored Cars (8-Wheel) and Sdkfz 263 Radio Armored Car (8-Wheel) although they served along side one another at times. |
