| Miscellaneous Info: | The successor to the earlier AB 40, which was almost identical except for the main armament fitted. Preceded the later and very similar AB 42 (Prototype) and AB 43, which were also fitted with different turrets and improved engines. The AB 41 was the most numerously produced version of the AB series of armored cars. A variant was also built for use on railroad tracks (AB 41 Ferrovaria) and a turretless prototype command vehicle was tested as well but was also never fielded. Furthermore, an experimental vehicle was also created mounting a 47mm L/32 Anti-Tank Gun designated the Semovente Da 47/32 su Scafo AB41. |
