December 29, 2023 Today we've posted 60 additional detail photos of the M1117 Guardian Armored Security Vehicle via Robert Skipper.
December 27th   To remind us 2023 is almost over, the January 2024 issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has gotten here and it has a nice selection of articles.  They are "Banana Split Wagons" by Craig Allen, which discusses the Supacat All-Terrain Mobility Platform (ATMP); "Behind Enemy Lines" (also by Craig) highlighting SAS WWII activity in Europe; and "Tip of the Spear" authored by Barrimore England-Davis and covering the ERC-90 F4 Sagaie.
December 26th We're going back a bit in time with the posting of some additional photos of South Vietnamese (ARVN) V-100 Commando Armored Cars via the Australian War Memorial.
December 23rd Today we've posted a new index covering the French Grizzly Heavy Special Forces Vehicle/Sabre Special Forces Patrol Vehicle.
December 15th We've just added another vehicle on WW, which we've wanted for awhile.  Today we've posted an index covering the USMC's Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen Interim Fast Attack Vehicle (IFAV).
December 8th Sticking with the "R's", we've posted a new index covering the American R-1 Rescue All-Terrain Transport (RATT).
December 7th Unexpectedly, we're back to the Ratel for a bit.  Stephen Tegner has sent us some Engine Line Drawings from the Ratel Technical Manual.
December 1st Today we've posted a new index covering one of our favorite vehicles, the Panhard VPS 1 (Véhicule Patrouille Spéciale).
November 28th Well, it's come to the end of our work on the Ratel Series (for the time being, anyway).  Today we've posted an index covering the Ratel Logistic Support Vehicle.

At this time I'd like to take a moment to thank a few people who greatly contibuted to our Ratel content.  Thanks to Chris Baxter (Owner of BaxMod), Lt. Col. Jan Ehlert (Ret), Dr. Stefan Nell, Stephen Tegner, Marius van Aardt and especially Tony Savides. Without them, we would have almost nothing on WarWheels covering the Ratel ICV.
November 24th We're finally getting to the end of our work on the Ratel series.  Today we've posted an index covering the Ratel Basic/Enhanced Artillery Observation System Vehicles (BAOS/EAOS).
November 20th Today we've got additional photos of the Ratel 20 ICV, again courtesy of Chris Baxter.
November 18th Sticking with the Ratel again, we have some photos of the engine in the Honey Badger series.
November 17th Back to the Ratel again with a new index covering the Ratel 81 Mortar Carrier.
November 16th We've taken another short break from the Ratel by posting photos of the Soframe Combat Recovery Vehicle.
November 14th Now on to the Ratel ZT-3 Anti-Tank Vehicle for us, with a new variant index.
November 12th Today we've posted some additional pics of the Hornet Rapid Deployment Recon Vehicle, courtesy of the SANDF (again).
November 10th Did you miss our recent Ratel additions?  Well, fret not.  Here's a new index covering the Ratel 12.7 Command Vehicle.
November 8th Swinging back and forth like a pendulum, we've posted a few photos of the ERC-90 F4 Sagaie Armored Recon Vehicle via the French ECPAD.
November 7th Back to the Ratel with a new index covering the Ratel 60 Infantry Combat Vehicle/Command Vehicle.
November 5th A little change for today with the posting of Photos of the Senator APC via Roshel, Inc.
November 1st We've added 30+ more pics of the Ratel 90 FSV via Chris Baxter, Owner of BaxMod out of South Africa.
October 31st Today we present Christophe Jacquemont's review of the new Casemate book, "US Army Ford M8 and M20 Armored Cars".  It looks like a winner folks.
October 30th On to the next new Ratel variant index: The Ratel 90 Fire Support Vehicle.
October 29th If you're tired of Ratel pics, you'll be disappointed.  We've added photos of the Ratel Mark IV Prototype Vehicle via (you guessed it) Stephen Tegner.
October 28th With all the additions to our Ratel coverage lately, we've updated our Ratel Infantry Combat Vehicle Index, including the beginning of its expansion by adding separate variant indices.
October 27th Now for something completely different.  Here's some pics of the Kaya I & II Mine Protected Personnel Carrier.
October 26th   The November issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has arrived and it contains the article "Mechanical Mule", which is authored by Robbie McGuire.
October 25th Stephen's incredible model has spurred on more work on the Ratel Series.  So, as a result we've posted 75 photos of the first production Ratel 20 ICV, also courtesy of Stephen.  This includes about 20 pics of the interior.
October 19th We have a VERY nice addition today via good mate Stephen Tegner.  Stephen has allowed up to post photos of his 1/10 scratchbuilt/3D printed Ratel 20 Infantry Combat Vehicle model project.  He's not quite done yet, but whenever he makes any progress, we'll post the latest pics.
October 14th Building on yesterday's addition, we've added a new index covering the entire Anaconda Light Military Vehicle Series.
October 13th While doing some seemingly unrelated vehicle research, we found a bunch interesting photos of Dutch Fuchs EloKa Electronic Warfare Vehicles via the Dutch Ministry of Defense.
October 8th Although we previously had up photos of the Ford Model T Light Patrol Car/Machine Gun Carrier, we've finally added an index covering that vehicle.
October 7th Today we've posted photos of the Dutch Anaconda Special Operations Forces Vehicle.
September 30th Just when you think he's not building, Don Allen proves us wrong.  He's sent us some photos of his 1/35 Hobby Boss ZTS "Dana" 152mm SPG model.
September 29th We have some additional photos from Martyn today.  These cover the Humber Mark 3 Light Recon Car.
September 24th Well, my lull wasn't over. I got busy at work the past couple weeks and the last thing I wanted to do was be on the computer during my "me time".  Anyway, we have some wonderful detail photos of the Otter Mark 1 Light Recon Car via Martyn Smith.
September 23rd   The October issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has made it here and it has a large number of articles dear to our hearts.  They are "Mobile Machine Gunner" (covering the Ford Model T MG Carrier) by Phil Loder, "Quick Strike, Desert Strike" (highlighting a replica Chenowth Desert Patrol Vehicle) by Glen Sands, "Stroke One" (modeling the 1/35 Dragon Sdkfz 234/1 kit) by Kevin Smith and "Wartime Fox" by Neil Huband.
September 16th After a bit of a lull, we've posted another new index, this one covering the Czech Perun Armored Multi-Role Vehicle.
September 8th We've posted a new vehicle index covering the Venpir Medium Rapid-Intervention Vehicle.
September 4th Today we've revamped our T2 Armored Car Series Index.  So, if you've not looked at it in awhile, you should check it out.
September 3rd Following up on American T-Series vehicles, we've posted a new index covering the T19 Armored Car.
August 27th We've posted a new index covering the T66 75mm Gun Motor Carriage.
August 22nd    The September issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has come and it has the article "The Seabrook Standard", which is authored by Tim Gosling.
August 18th Today we've posted photos of the Zephyr Multi-Role Vehicle, which later became the Metras.
August 6th As how sometimes things go, we're still on the subject of Turkish vehicles. Today we've posted a new index covering the Akrep II Armored Mult-Role Vehicle.
August 2nd Today, we've posted Al Crawford's book review of the new Pen & Sword title, "Puma: Sdkfz 234/1 & 234/2 Heavy Armored Cars-German Army, Waffen-SS and Luftwaffe Units", authored by Dennis Oliver.
July 29th Another Turkish vehicle for today in the form of a new index for the Akrep Armored Patrol Vehicle.
July 28th    The August issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has arrived and it contains the article “Dusting Off A Hound of War” by Ben Brown.  The article covers the restoration of a Staghound Mark I Armored Car.
July 22nd We've posted photos of the Turkish Kale Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Personnel Carrier.
July 19th Speaking of Fords... We've put up a new index covering the Polish Ford FT-B Armored Car today.
July 16th Hitting the Irish vehicles again, we've posted a new index covering the Ford Mark VI Armored Car.
July 9th And again, Don Allen strikes!  Here's photos of his 1/35 Vargas Scale Models Ford FT-B Armored Car kit.
July 7th As he is wont to do, Don Allen has sent us additional pics of his 1/35 Copper State Models Renault Model 1914 Armored Car.  This time, he's added figures for a comparison of scale.
July 5th Today we've put up a vehicle index for the BDX/Timoney APC Series.
June 27th Long-time friend and contributor Roy Kinsella has sent us some new pics of the Foxhound Lightweight Protected Patrol Vehicle with some interesting camo.
June 24th   The July issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has come and it has a couple articles relevant to WarWheels.  They are, "Armoured Springbok" by Dewald Venter, about the South African MC-90 and "Scout Car" by Hunter Chaney, covering the M3A1 Scout Car.
June 20th We have put up a new index covering the Irish Army Ranger Wing's Ford F-350 Special Reconnaissance Vehicle.
June 19th Just when you think Don Allen is done with a model (or two), he hits it again.  Today I've added YET more pics of his 1/35 Copper State Models Armoured Autocar and 1/35 Ehrhardt E-V/4 Armored Car Kits.  This time he's added some figures for scale effect.
June 16th Today we've created an index for the new Cottonmouth Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle.
June 11th We've added a new vehicle index covering the Dozor-B/Oncilla Armored Personnel Carrier.
June 4th As an added bonus, we have more model pics from Don.  Today we present photos of his THIRD 1/35 Copper State Models Armoured Autocar model.  These new ones are presented as "Project #3: At Rest" and are located at the bottom of the page linked above.
June 3rd Don Allen is back with photos of his excellent 1/35 Copper State Models Renault Model 1914 Armored Car.
May 28th Today we have a new index covering the pre-World War One German Schlater 4x2 Recon Vehicle.
May 26th   The June issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has made its way over the pond to us and it contains some great articles.  They are, "Snatch Land Rover for Ukraine" by Craig Allen, "Specialist Delivery" by Tom Baker (covering a delivery of Land Rover Freelanders also to Ukraine) and "The Fighting Fords", by David Fletcher which is about the Ford Model T's used during World War One.
May 21st After a long home renovation, we're finally back to "normal" (hopefully).  So, without further ado, we've created a new vehicle index covering the Swedish Terrangbil m/42 KP (Karoseri Pansar).
April 27th   The May issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has arrived and it has the small article, "An Advanced Successor?" authored by Craig Moore.  The article discusses the author's research on the Coventry Armored Car.
April 12th Just a small update today.  We've put up some additional pics of the RG-31 Mark 3 Mine Protected Vehicle we had forgotten about.
April 9th We've added the last Italian vehicle content, for the time being. The index covers the Camionetta AS 43/ Camionetta Model 1943.
April 2th Today we've posted a new vehicle index covering the AS 37 (Modificato)/Camionetta Desertica Model 1943.
March 26th Getting out of our latest lull, we've posted a new vehicle index covering the Italian TL 37 75/27 Self-Propelled Gun Truck.
March 19th   The April issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has arrived and it contains three articles. They are "Freikorps Steel" by Craig Moore, which showcases a German Freikorps inspired replica armored car. "Reconnaissance and Observation" by Tim Gosling, which covers the American M1918 Reconnaissance Car and Part 2 of the"Scrapheap Challenge" by John Carroll. 
March 10th Following up on our last addition, we've added more photos of the RG-31A2 Mark 5E Mine Protected Vehicle/MMPV Type 2, all from US Government sources.
March 6th Today we've added an index covering the ubiquitous RG-31A2 Mark 5E Mine Protected Vehicle/MMPV Type 2.
March 3rd Don Allen returns with photos of his latest project, Copper State Models' 1/35 Ehrhardt E-V/4 Armored Car Kit.
February 24th Just a small update today.  We added a handful of pics to our AMX-10RC and AMX-10RCR Recon Vehicle indices. So, if you're inclined toward modern French vehicles, you may appreciate them.
February 23rd   The March issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has come and it contains the articles "BTR-4 Bucephalus, The" by Craig Allen and "Scrapheap Challenge: Part 1" by John Carroll.  The later article covers the author's restoration of a worn Willys MB Jeep. 
February 20th Today we've posted another FMTV variant index, this one covering the M1148 8.8-Ton Load Handling System (LHS).
February 19th Back to the FMTV series with the addition of a new index covering the M1088 5-ton Tractor with 5th Wheel.
February 18th After many years of wanting to do so, we've FINALLY been able to create an index covering the RG-31(A1) Mark 5 Mine Protected Vehicle.
February 12th Not planning to do so, but we've gone back to some Oshkosh Defense vehicles.  Today's update is a vehicle index for the M1089 5-ton Wrecker from the FMTV series.
February 5th We have a really cool spread today via small-scale modeler, Ron Bell.  Ron has sent us photos of his converted 1/72 Sizaire-Berwick "Windwagen" Model.
February 4th For a bit of a change, we've posted over 40 photos of the Guatemalan Armadillo Armored Troop Transport via long-time contributer Oscar Valladares.
January 30th Today, we've finished our work (for the time being) on the JLTV series.  This last installment consists of a bunch of photos showing concept, demonstration, proposed and prototype variants.  If you want to see these weird and wonderful vehicles, you can go to our JLTV Series Index.
January 29th We're starting to get to the end of our work on the JLTV.  Today, we've posted additional photos of the M1279 Utility and M1280 General Purpose Vehicles, mostly from Oshkosh Defense.  As usual, if you want to check them out, you should go to our JLTV Series Index.
January 28th Back to the JLTV.  We have posted the last photos we have of the M1278 Heavy Guns Carrier and M1281 Close Combat Weapons Carrier.  If you want to see pics of either variant, you can access our JLTV Series Index to find them.
January 27th We're having a wee break from the JLTV by posting photos of the Stryker Medium Caliber Weapons System (MCWS) Vehicle.
January 22nd As things go, since we were working on the JLTV, we're posting more pics of that vehicle.  This time, we've got photos of the M1281 Close Combat Weapons (TOW) Carrier courtesy of the USMC.
January 21st We've substantially updated our Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) index the past few days, including adding a number of new photos.  Check it out!
January 20th   The February issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has arrived and it has the article "A War Life Saver" by Gerry van Tonder.  The article covers the unique Pookie Mine Detector Vehicle. 
January 13th Via Oscar again, we've added more pics of the Danto Armored Fighting Vehicle.
January 12th A nice surprise came the past couple days with a few emails containing a bunch of photos from Oscar Valladares.  First, we present Oscar's pics of Guatemalan RBY Mark 1 Light Armored Recon Vehicles.
January 8th Today, we've put up some photos of the Streit Group Cobra 4x4 APC.
January 5th Courtesy of long-time supporter Ralph Zwilling, Editor of Tank-Masters.DE, we have some new photos of the RG-31 Mark 5 MRAP, this one mounting a Fassi Interrogation Arm.
January 2, 2023 With all the work we've done lately on modern German vehicles, we've also been able to update the Fennek Light Armored Recon Vehicle index, including adding a few new photos courtesy of the Bundeswehr.
