| Miscellaneous Info: | The BA-21 Armored Car was a singular example based upon the developmental GAZ-21 6x4 truck chassis. This new chassis was based on the GAZ-M1 4x4 light vehicle chassis also using its automotive components. The hull was an extensively modified design based upon the one used on the BA-20 Armored Car. The BA-21 was concurrently developed and built alongside the very similar LB-23 Armored Car. However, no further examples of both vehicles were built since their truck chassis were not selected for mass production. |
