Miscellaneous Info: The vehicle's official name is the Cavalry Exploration Vehicle (VEC: Vehiculo de Exploracion de Caballeria), but was previously known as the BMR-625 and also the Pegaso 3562.  This vehicle also shares many of the same parts and components as the BMR-600 Infantry Fighting Vehicle.  In 1999 upgraded versions of this vehicle went into service and are referred to as VEC-M1.  The M1 vehicles were equipped with better armor and an upgraded Scania DS9 Turbo-Diesel engine (versus the Pegaso 9157/8 Turbo-Diesel). In approximately 2023, the VEC-M1 will start to be replaced by a Cavalry Exploration Vehicle Variant in the Dragon VCR Wheeled Combat Vehicle Series.
