Miscellaneous Info:	The Boevaya Porgranichnaya Mashina BPM-97 (In English: Border Patrol Vehicle) was specifically developed for Border Patrol, Internal Security and Police units using a shortened KAMAZ-4326 Mustang 4x4 truck chassis. The vehicle is also commonly referred to as the KAMAZ-43269. The BPM-97 can be used in the roles performed by both armored cars or armored personnel carriers (APC). In addition, the vehicle has also been adapted for use by the Russian Army, which was designated "Dozor" (The Watch). The series was later upgraded with a large number of improvements, those vehicles being designated "Vystrel" (Gunshot). The more visible Vystrel upgrades include increased hull height, single-pane front window, new location of driver's hatch and the addition of an air-purification system.  The series can also be fitted with specialized equipment to perform other roles. One example is the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Command/Control vehicle. Lastly, the SBA-60K2 Bulat APC was also developed from the BPM-97 series, the main difference it being longer as it was built using a 6x6 truck chassis instead.
