Miscellaneous Info: | The Caiman 4x4 is based on the 2.5 ton LMTV truck chassis of the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV). This vehicle is informally named the "Caiman Light" to differentiate it from the closely related, but larger, Caiman 6x6 Multi-Role Protected Vehicle. Although there is some information available that states the Caiman Light was purchased and fielded by the US military we have not found any photographic evidence to support that claim. |
