Armament: (1) MG3A1T 7.62mm Machine Gun. Some Variants can be fitted with the FLW 100 or FLW200 Remote Weapons Station (RWS) which can also accomodate the M2HB 12.7mm Heavy MG or HK 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher.
Engine: 4 Cylinder Turbo-Diesel Engine (218 HP Mercedes-Benz OM 924LA)
Miscellaneous Info: The Dingo 2 is based upon the Mercedes-Benz UNIMOG U5000 (FGA 12.5 Special) chassis and succeeded the Dingo 1 All-Protected Vehicle Series.  The German translation for All-Protected Vehicle is Allschutz-Transport Fahrzeug (ATF).  SOME variants of the Dingo 2 are the Ambulance, Command Post, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Loudspeaker System Opinfo, Maintenance, Mine-Roller, Nuclear-Biological-Chemical Reconnaissance, Patrol & Security, Patrol Vehicle with Electronic Countermeasure System, Personnel/Material Transport, Pick-Up, Psychological Operations, Reconnaissance, Recovery and System Maintenance Senior NCO Vehicles. The Dingo 2 HD (Heavy Duty) ATF followed upon this series in 2011.  The HD version had many improvements made, including upgraded components/systems which lead to an increased capacity/payload, but at the same size as the Dingo 2.
