Miscellaneous Info: The Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance-Wheeled [CVR(W)] Fox was developed at the same time as the CVR-Tracked Series and is fitted with a similar turret as the Scimitar variant.  The Fox was developed as a replacement to some Ferret Scout Variants, most notably the Ferret Mark 2/3 and  Mark 4 "Big Wheel" variant. However, the Fox was never produced in large enough numbers and the Ferret soldiered on.  A companion vehicle to the Fox, the CVR(W) Vixen Liaison Vehicle was also planned and built, but was never put into serial production.
