Armament: Various weapons/mounts can be fitted, including Remote Weapons Systems (RWS).  Weapons include the 5.56mm M249 SAW Machine Gun, 7.62mm M60 MG, 7.62mm M240 MG, M2HB .50 Cal Heavy MG and 40mm Mod 3 MK 19 Automatic Grenade Launcher.

Miscellaneous Info: Like the the related M1151 ECV it is based on a vehicle with a heavier chassis, the M1113 Expanded Capacity Vehicle.  The M1165 is the designation of the Command/General Purpose Vehicle with 4-door/open cargo bed.  The M1165 is also the base design for one of the Special Forces Ground Mobility Vehicle (GMV) variants.  Similar vehicles on the same chassis are the M1152 Cargo/Troop Carrier (2-door/open cargo bed) and the M1167 ITAS/TOW Missile Carrier.
