The previous weapons package was considered "standard", however variations were common based upon crew preferences and/or mission.

Miscellaneous Info: These Special Air Service (SAS) patrol vehicles followed the Land Rover Series 1 Patrol Vehicles, but were instead based on the proven Land Rover Series 2A long wheel base (109 inch) chassis; although some sources state early vehicles were based on the Series 2.  The initial vehicles (Early 1960's) were developed by SAS and converted in their own workshops. (AKA "Pre-Pinkies").  However, in approximately 1967 standardized conversions were completed by Marshalls of Cambridge.  Although named the "Pink Panther", some vehicles were painted in the traditional green based/camouflage color. In the 1980's the SAS replaced their "Pink Panthers" with the 110 Desert Patrol Vehicles (DPV).
