Miscellaneous Info: The Alpha 2 & 4 Light Tactical Vehicles (LTV) were developed by Polaris to improve upon their successful MRZR Light Tactical All-Terrain Vehicle (LTATV). Like its predecessors, they are also manufactured in two (2) basic configurations; the Alpha 2 and the larger Alpha 4. Both are small and light enough to be INTERNALLY transportable in C130 aircraft, CH-47 and CH-53 helicopters and most importantly, the V-22 Osprey Tilt-Rotor aircraft. Despite their size, the vehicles are capable of a multitude of missions due to their modular construction.  These roles include, casualty evacuation, command/control, electronic warfare, fast attack, personnel transport, reconnaissance and supply.  Even before the Alpha's public debut in 2021, US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) had already adopted it as thier newest LTATV. Following that in 2023, the MRZR Alpha 4 was also adopted as the US Marine Corps Ultra Light Tactical Vehicle (ULTV), replacing their MRZR 4D/Utility Task Vehicles (UTV).
