Completed in 1932, the pilot T11 Armored Car was tested at Aberdeen Proving Ground from January to July of 1933. As delivered by FWD, the car had several problems including mechanical failures due to insufficient strength of the rear end. Changes were made to the vehicle design, which resulted in the Marmon-Herrington built T11E1 Armored Car, and ultimately to the T11E2. |
