Miscellaneous Info: Four (4) T2 Armored Cars were built most likely using the chassis of the LaSalle Model 303 sedan. Their serial numbers were USA W1300, W1301, W1302 and W1303. The T2's were identifiable by their high armored sides, no roof and no weapon turret fitted. Subsequently, all the cars were modified by the 1st US Cavalry Division into four distinct "models", sequentially identified as T2E1, T2E2, T2E3 & T2E4.

All four vehicles were modified to both the T2E1 and then T2E2 "standard".  The T2E1 vehicles now had a fully armored (flat) roof with short turret added. The following information covering the later modifications is a bit more murky as sources conflict.  However, based upon my research I am presenting the following interpretations.  The T2E2 modifications included a new "stepped" roof behind the drivers position and a higher turret.  The T2E3 modifications are even harder to ascertain, but it appears only one vehicle was so modified, which supposedly had a different turret and weapons mount to allow for anti-aircraft defense.  Finally, the T2E4 modifications include a return to a shorter turret being mounted. There is even one source that states a .50 cal heavy machine gun was fitted.
