| Miscellaneous Info: | The TH-310 ALF-1 Armored Car was one of two vehicles built for use by Persia (Iran), but also tested (but not adopted) by the US Military. The other vehicle was the LaFrance TK-6 Armored Car. The TH-310 was originally fitted with a turret similar to the T11 and T11E1 Armored Cars, but it was not deemed satisfactory by Iran. Therefore, the base vehicles were built by Marmon-Herrington without turrets fitted. Once delivered to Iran they were fitted with the same turret used by the Swedish Landsverk L-181 Armored Car, although with a different armament package. Those vehicles were renamed the TK-5 Armored Car. |
