| Miscellaneous Info: | After the success of the export ERC-90 F1 Lynx, the French Army decided to also purchase the ERC-90, although with a different turret and gun. The new vehicle was christened the F4 Sagaie. The F4 is fully amphibious and propelled by its wheels. It also shares many components with the Panhard VCR Armored Personnel Carrier. The vehicle's name of "Sagaie" means "Assegai", which is a type of spear used by South African tribes such as the Zulu, Xhosa and Nguni. |
