Miscellaneous Info: The Hungarians developed the Felderito Uszo Gepkosci (abbreviated as FUG) D-442 amphibious reconnaissance vehicle as an alternative to the Soviet built BRDM-1 Scout Car. The Czechoslovaks designated the vehicle Obrnený Transportér vz. 65 (OT-65). It is very similar to the later PSZH D944/OT-66 APC.

Other variants of the series include Ambulance, Battlefield Surveillance Vehicle, Command Vehicle, Communications Vehicle, Engineer Reconnaissance Vehicle, Forward Air Controller Post, Forward Artillery Observation Post, NBC Reconnaissance Vehicle and the Czech built OT-65A Vydra (Otter).  The Otter is fitted with a turret from the OT-62B Tracked APC which mounts a 7.62mm machine gun and a T-21 82mm recoilless rifle which is located on the side of the turret.
