Miscellaneous Info: | The M151A2 was the final
version in the M151 Mutt series and ended production in 1978.
The
main external identifying feature between
the A2 and the earlier
M151A1, was the
addition of a much larger turn signal on the A2's front fender. The
larger turn signals also resulted in a change to the shape of the front
fenders as well. However, the major difference from the previous M151's and M151A1's was a final change in the rear suspension to try to decrease rollover accidents. A Roll-Over Protective Cage (ROP) modification was also added to nearly all vehicles during its later service. |
