| Miscellaneous Info: | The MaxxPro Recovery Vehicle - Performance Kit (PK) is an upgraded version of the M1249 MaxxPro Recovery Vehicle (MRV). Its role is also that of a fully protected vehicle for accomplishing towing, lifting and recovery operations of Category 1 & 2 MRAP's, as well as of the Stryker series of wheeled fighting vehicles. Like the MRV, the MRV-PK is equpped with a 30-ton boom recovery crane body. However, it is more capable due to the addition of DXM independent front suspension system (ISS), larger wheels (but with only 6 wheels), Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS), a more powerful engine (see above) and greater fuel capacity. The DXM ISS is the same as mounted on the M1235A1 MaxxPro Dash DXM MRAP. |
