December 30th To finish off 2022, we've got another book review by Al Crawford.  Al's review covers the new Pen & Sword title, "Pakwagen: Sdkfz 234/3 & 234/4 Heavy Armored Cars-German Army, Waffen-SS and Luftwaffe Units", authored by Dennis Oliver.
December 24th Today we've added a new vehicle index covering the German Bison (sGeBaf) Heavy Protected Recovery Vehicle.
December 23rd   The January 2023 issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has come as a pleasant Christmas surprise and it contains the article "Light Work" by Craig Moore.  Mr. Moore's article covers all marks of the Humber Light Reconnaissance Car (LRC). 
December 19th While researching the Serval, we also came up with additional photos of the larger Griffon VBMR, which we've just posted.
December 16th After a bit of a delay, we've added a new index covering the lightest French Scorpion Program vehicle, the Serval Multi-Role Armored Vehicle-Light (VBMR-L).
December 15th We've recently found some pics on Wikipedia showing an African Union Mamba Mine Protected APC we've just posted.  You should note the pics on Wiki are labeled as an RG-31 vehicle.
December 11th Today, we have added some pics of Dutch Fennek Light Armored Recon Vehicles via the Netherlands Royal Army.
December 9th Following up from yesterday, we've added more photos of the Bearcat X3 Utility Vehicle variants, mostly Police/Fire "civy" Models.  Again, visit the Bearcat Armored Truck Series page to see the pics.
December 8th We've been able to upgrade the Lenco Bearcat Armored Truck Series page, by the addition of photos of the newish X3 Utility Variant.  You can find the new pics by browsing the index.
December 4th Today we have a new index covering the Alpha MRAP Vehicle.
November 28th One more Flyer 72 addition for the time being.  This installment covers an HD Model mounting the CROWS II and Javelin Configuration Kit.
November 27th With all the work done on the Flyer 60 index, we were also able to substantially update the Flyer 72/M1288 GMV 1.1/M1297 A-GMV index.
November 23rd   The December issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has hit my mailbox with the articles "Nev The Saracen" by Craig Allen and "The Funny Car" by Scott Smith. The latter article covers a unique civilian-bodied Humber Scout Car. 
November 20th With a bit of free time, we were able to FINALLY get up a new index covering the Flyer 60 Advanced Light Strike Vehicle.
November 15th These pics of the M1232 RG-33L MRAP via Rob (again), should be the last for the time being.
November 12th Today we've got more RG-33 photos from Rob, these being of the M1238A1 SOCOM MRAP.
November 6th We have more photos from Rob Skipper today.  This batch covers the M1237A1 RG-33L HAGA "Plus" (Ambulance).
November 4th Robert Skipper is back with photos for us, which consist of pics of the M1239 RG-33L Special Operations Command (SOCOM) Armored Utility Vehicle (AUV).
October 29th Today we've added photos of the GeFaS (Geschuetztes Fahrzeug) Advanced Protected Vehicle System.
October 27th We're continuing on with the Buffalo MPCV, this time with about 50 photos of the Canadian A2 version.
October 23rd Today we've posted a new vehicle index covering the Swedish Pansarbil FM/29 Armored Car.
October 22nd   The November issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has come and it contains the article "A Humvee for the 21st Century" by Craig Allen.  The article covers the US Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) series. 
October 20th Since we were on the subject of US MRAPS, we added more photos of the Buffalo A1 Mine Protected Clearance Vehicle.
October 16th While updating our RG-31 Mark 1/2/3 Nyala MMPV index, we've added additional pics of those versions.
October 1st We're finishing up the Freccia series (for now) with the addition of photos showing the ATGM Carrier and HITFIST OWS 30 turreted version.
September 30th The October issue of Airfix Model World Magazine has made it into my mailbox and it contains the article "Amiens Raider" by Toni Canfora. It covers his build of Copper State Models' 1/35 Canadian Armoured (Autocar) MG Carrier kit (CSM35006).
September 29th Today we have new pics of the Freccia Command Vehicle (ACP).
September 25th Back to the Centauro Freccia series again.  We've posted a few photos of the Armored Personnel Carrier variant today.
September 24th   The October issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has arrived and it has two articles that may be interesting to WW visitors.  The first is "Holy Joe", authored by Time Gosling and covers his WW II era Chaplain-marked Jeep.  The second is "Talking Tanks", an interview with friend of WW, Lt. Col. (ret'd) Dick Taylor, by Phil Loder.
September 18th We're back to the Centauro Freccia series, with photos of the Armored Recovery Vehicle.
September 17th We've finally added an entry on on our "Links" page to one of our favorite websites, Tank Encyclopedia- The Online Tank Museum.
Septmber 9th It seems like the product reviews are coming all at once.  This installment is Dr. Chris Lloyd-Staples' review of Kagero Publishing's "39/40M Csaba Armoured Cars in World War 2", authored by Péter Mujzer.
Septmber 8th Today, we've posted photos of the Centauro Freccia Mortar Carrier (AMC).
September 7th We have posted Don Allen's review of the Casemate book, "US Army Diamond T Vehicles In World War Two", authored by Didier Andres.
September 4th Staying on French vehicles, we've posted about 10 additional pics of the Panhard AML-90 Armored Car.
September 3rd Today we've posted about 20 additional pics of the Panhard AML-60 Armored Car courtesy of Don Allen and the Massimo Foti Collection.  So, if you've not had a chance to view that vehicle index in awhile, take a look.
August 27th We've got our latest book review up, courtesy of Dr. Chris Lloyd-Staples.  His review covers the Casemate Publishers offering, "Dodge WC54 Ambulance".
August 26th Today, we have added photos of the Caiman Surrogate (Training) Vehicle, taken at the Russell Military Museum, in Zion, Illinois USA.
 
  Speaking of the Russell Museum, they have an upcoming event on September 10-11th that should be interesting.  Click on the photo to check out details.
August 21st   The September issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has gotten here already and it has two articles interesting to our ilk.  The first is "A Relaxed and Sociable Gathering" by Craig Allen, which covers the 2022 Classic Land Rover Gathering.  The other article is "Tres Hombres" by Louise Limb, highlighting the three WW II-era and M38A1 Jeeps owned by a trio of friends.
August 19th After a bit of a lull, we have Glen Phelan's review of the new Pen & Sword book, "Camouflage: Modern International Military Patterns".
August 7th We posted a new vehicle index covering the Australian Kirsch Armored Car.
July 31st Today we've posted some additional photos of the Rolls Royce 1914 Admiralty Turreted Pattern Armored Car.
July 30th   The August issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has arrived and contains the article "Choosing a Jeep" by Robert U'Ren.  In the article, the author describes the advantages and disadvantages of choosing a World War era vs. a Hotchkiss-built post-war Jeep.
July 24th Via the U.S. Army, we've posted photos of the Stryker Directed Energy Mobile-SHORAD (DE M-SHORAD) Vehicle.
July 23rd We've posted some photos of the Ford Model T Patrol Car, courtesy of the Australian War Memorial.
July 19th Christophe Jacquemont is back with his review of the newer MMP Books title, "Schwerer Gelandegangiger Personenkfraftwagen and Successors".
July 9th Today we've added more photos of the Dingo 2 GE A3.1 Operative Informationen (Psy Ops) Vehicle.
July 8th Following its "brother" from a couple days ago, we've added photos and improved the index of the FUG D-442/OT-65 Amphibious Recon Vehicle.
July 6th We've put up some additional photos of the Hungarian PSZH D-944 APC.

July 3rd Today we have a new vehicle index covering the Pansarbil M/39 & M/40 Lynx Armored Cars.

Also, Hong Kong Creation Workshop has released a 1/35 Jackal 1 Detail Set (CK3557A) for the Hobby Boss Kit.
July 2nd There's been a few modeling hobby announcements this week.  They are AK Interactive's 1/35 FJ43 (Toyota) SUV with Hard Top Model Kit (AK35001), FJ43 (Toyota) SUV with DShKM Model Kit (AK35002) and SdKfz 234/2 Puma Model Kit (AK35503); and FC Model Trend's 1/35 Land Rover Pink Panther Weighted Wheels (37082), for the Tamiya kit.
June 26th Today we have some photos of an M1025A2 HMMWV Ground Mobility Vehicle (GMV).
June 25th We have the last (for now) photos from "Mecanix".  These cover his 1/35 Bedford RL Blue Water Missile Transporter/Erector/Launcher model.
June 24th   I received the July edition of Classic Military Vehicle magazine and it has one relevant article titled "Long Service" by Craig Allen.  The article describes the return to use of the Land Rover R-WMIK by the British Parachute Regiment.

Also one new product for today: Quinta Studio has released a set of 1/35 Kubelwagen Type 82 Interior 3D Decals (QD35055) for the Italeri kit.
June 20th "Mecanix" Model Mania continues with the posting of photos of his 1/35 Irish CJ-3B Jeep and 1/35 Panhard AML-127 Models.
June 19th There's been a few hobby modeling products announced this week.  They are Rye Field Model’s 1/35 JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle) Model Kit (5090) and Star Decals’ 1/35 “DDR-NVA #4- East Germany. Grenztruppen & Volkspolize” (35-C1345) (Includes markings for the GAZ-69, UAZ-469 & BTR-40), “French Fighting Vehicles In Africa #1” (35-C1348) and 1/72 “French Fighting Vehicles In Africa” (72-A1107) (both with markings for the Marmon-Herrington Mark 3) and 1/72 “Nicaragua: Guardia Nacional 1925-79 & Sandinista Guerilla 1979” (72-A1105) (Includes markings for the Staghound 1).
June 18th We have more photos from "Mecanix" showing his work.  They cover his 1/35 Royal Irish Constabulary Ford Model T Patrol Wagon and 1/35 RUC Lancia Tender of the Northern Ireland Governor's Police Bodyguard.
June 17th We've put up Christophe Jacquemont's review of the new book by David Doyle, "AM General- The First 50 Years: 1971-2021".
June 15th Long-time friend and contributor "Mecanix" has sent us some additional photos of his 1/35 Irish Armored Unimog S404 APC Model. In addition, he's sent us new pics of his 1/35 RUC FV1609 Humber "Pig" Patrol Tender Model.

Lastly, RPG Model has released a new kit in the form of a 1/35 KAMAZ K-4386 Typhoon-VDV with Remote Weapon Station kit (35022).
June 5th Today, we've added photos of the Ondava 152mm Model 77 Self-Propelled Howitzer.

In addition, one hobby model product was announced by Trumpeter; a new 1/72 Dutch Fennek LGS Model Kit (07401).
May 30th Courtesy of Eddie Mc Vea, we have a few photos of his 1/35 Gecko Models ATMP WMIK (Airbourne) model, which you'll find at the bottom of the vehicle index.
May 29th Today's site addition covers the Salvadoran Blindado Caza Tanque A2 (BCT-A2).
May 28th   Quickly following the previous issue, we received the June edition of Classic Military Vehicle magazine and it has a number of pertinent articles.  They are: ""Armoured Humvee, The" by Craig Allen, "Filling the Void" (covering the Morris Light Reconnaissance Car) by Craig Moore, "French Wheeled Firepower" (showcasing the AMX-10RC & RCR Recon Vehicles) by David Garden and "Prototype Special" (covering the Escaro 6x6 Prototype) by Steven Downes.
May 27th   The June issue of Airfix Model World Magazine has gotten here and it contains the article"Next Stop: Flanders Field" by Mikael Terfors. It covers his build of Minart's 1/35 B-Type Military Omnibus model kit (39001).

Also, Takom has announced a 1/16 WW2 Quarter Ton (Jeep) Utility Vehicle (16NN) Model Kit.
May 24th One hobby modelling product has been announed by Trumpeter.  It is a 1/35 5U175 TEL of RS-12M1 Topol-M ICBM Complex Model Kit (01082).
May 22nd Our latest addition to the site is the unique Salvadoran Blindado Caza Tanque A1 (BCT-A1).  Check this thing out!
May 21st   We received the May edition Classic Military Vehicle magazine and it contains the following articles: "An Export Success" (covering the Saladin Armored Car) by David Fletcher, "An Argentine Panhard" (AML-90) by Barrimore England-Davis and "Fighting Flak Truck" (20mm armed Citroen U23 Model Truck) by Michiel Peeters.
May 17th Today's posting consists of a number of photos showing Ukrainian BRDM-2 Scout Cars.
May 14th We've created a new vehicle index covering the Ukrainian BTR-4 APC Series.

In addition, one product announcement troops: 3D MicroCosmos 1/35 M1117 Guardian Details Set (MC-35-444).
May 8th Today we've posted a few photos of "modernized" BTR-70 APC's, complete with new turrets. 

Also, a couple more model items have been announced since yesterday, DEF Model's 1/35 Daimler Armored Car Wheel Set (DW30066), for the Gecko model kits and LRDG Truck Wheel Set (DW30067).

May 6th First time content provider Greg Morgan, has kindly shared his summary of Chinese People's Liberation Army Wheeled Personnel Carriers, in PDF.

April 29th Tetra Model Works have released two new 1/35 detail sets.  They are the MK.23 MTVR Truck with Armor Protection Detail Set (ME35070) and the MK.23 MTVR Truck with Armor Protection Kit Interior Detail Set (ME35071), both for the Trumpeter kit.
April 24th More Soviet-Era stuff; we've added a few more photos of the BTR-60PB APC.
April 22nd Today we've posted some photos of the BTR-60P APC and BTR-60R-145BM "Chaika" Command Vehicle.
April 16th Following up from yesterday's British subject, we've posted additional photos of the Daimler Mark 2 Armored Car.

And, Panzer Art has announced a 1/35 Willys Jeep Winter Canvas Cover (RE35-713).
April 15th We've added more photos of the Daimler Mark 1 Armored Car via the Massimo Foti Collection.
April 14th Today we've posted additional photos of the ERC-90 F4 Sagaie Armored Recon Vehicle.

April 13th One quick hit today, Quinta Studio has announced a 1/35 Bantam BRC40 3D Decal Set (QD35046), for the Miniart kits.
April 10th Finally we've posted a vehicle index we'd been working on awhile.  It covers the Salvadoran "Mazinger" Armored Truck Series, courtesy of Julio Montes.
April 8th A couple new hobby items snuck through since our last update.  They are DEF Model's 1/35 K-4386 Typhoon-VDV Sagged Wheel Set (DW35136) and URAL 63095 Typhoon-U Sagged Wheel Set (DW35137), both for the respective RPG kits; and Star Decals' 1/35 "Nicaragua La Guardia/Gardia Nacional 1925-1979" Decals (35-C1340) (Includes markings for the Staghound Mark 1)  and "Sandinista Guerilla and Post 1979 Revolutionary Army" Decals (35-C1341) (Markings for the BRDM-2, BTR-60PB & Staghound 1).

Also, DEF Model has announced a 1/35 Korean K131 1/4 ton Light Utility Vehicle Model Kit (DK35007) and M151A1/A2 MUTT (Late) Sagged Wheel Set (DW35138), for the Academy and Tamiya Kits.
March 31st A few more products have been announced these last couple days.  They are Miniart’s 1/35 Ukrainian BTR-4E (Early) Model Kit (37100); Quinta Studio’s 1/35 M35 Family Interior 3D Decals (QD35037), for the AFV Club Series; and Takom’s 1/72 DF-41 Ballistic Missile Launcher Model Kit (SP-9002).
March 27th More hobby model products have been announced this past week.  They are Blast Models’ 1/35 VBCI Spare Wheel with Straps (BL35401K), VBCI “Barkhane” Stowage Set (BL35407K) & M8 Greyhound Stowage Set (BL35424K); DEF Model’s 1/35 GAZ-233014 STS Tiger Flat Tire Set (DW35139); IBG Models 1/72 Ukrainian BTR-4E Model Kit (#?); and Panzer Art’s 1/35 Ukrainian BTR-80 Sandbag Set (RE35-693).
March 21st   In quick succession, we received both the March and April issues of Classic Military Vehicle magazine.  The March issue contains the article "Vehicles of the Reconnaissance Corps" by David Garden and the April issue has the article "Land Rover vs. Jeep" by Craig Moore.
March 20th Today, we've posted additional photos of the Dingo 2 Recovery Vehicle.

Also, Tetra Model Works have released a 1/72 M983 HEMTT & M901 Launching Station of MIM-104F [PAC-3] Detail Set (ME72019), for the Trumpeter kit.
March 16th Here's a couple "braille scale" model hobby releases: FC Model Trend has announced a 1/72 Bilbao Armoured Car (3D Printed) Model Kit (72468) and IBG Models is coming out with a 1/72 Italian Autocannone (Lancia) 3Ro with 90/53 90mm AA Gun Model Kit (72096).
March 12th Quinta Studio has announced a set of 1/35 Humvee Family Interior 3D Decals (QD35039) for the Tamiya kits, Humvee Family 3D-Printed (Seat) Belt Decals (QR35002) and Typhoon MRAP Family 3D-Printed (Seat) Belt Decals (for 1 Seat) (QR35001).
March 8th Panzer Art continues to produce new items at a prodigious rate.  Their latest sets are 1/35 M1078 LMTV Road Wheels (Michelin) (RE35-705), M1078 LMTV Road Wheels (Goodyear) (RE35-706), M1083 FMTV Road Wheels (Michelin) (RE35-709) and M1083 FMTV Road Wheels (Goodyear) (RE35-710).
March 6th In the past couple days, Panzer Art has announced the release of a 1/35 SS23 Spider 9K714 Road Wheel Set (RE35-711), presumably for the Hobby Boss Kit and SDKFZ 247 Ausf.B Canvas Cover (RE35-712), for the ICM Kit.
March 2nd As the news is never ending, we have some additional info about upcoming hobby model hobby products.  The items are HD Models' 1/35 Italian Lancia 3Ro Truck "Ceat" Sagged Wheel Set (HDM35104) and Panzer Art's 1/35 British/Commonwealth/Polish Stowage Set for the M3A1 Scout Car (35363), for the Tamiya Kit.
March 1st Courtesy of Ley Reynolds, we present photos and information about his scratch-built 1/72 Chinese Nationalist (Kuomintang) 6x4 Armoured Car Model. Ley has also provided a nice summary of the real vehicles as well.   
February 27th E.T. Model has announced their new 1/35 products, SdKfz 234 Small-Diameter Weighted Wheels (Mixed Tire Pattern) (P35-110A) and SdKfz 234 Large-Diameter Weighted Wheels (Mixed Tire Pattern) (P35-110B), both for the Dragon series of kits.
February 24th There's been a couple hobby model product announcements lately.  They are Archer Fine Transfers' 1/35 M8 Light Armored Car Instruments and Placards (AR35521), for the Tamiya kit and Gecko Models' 1/35 Daimler Armored Car Mark 2 (WW II Version) Model Kit (35GM0012).
February 21st We're finishing up with Italian vehicles for now, with the Breda Type 102 90/53 Self-Propelled Gun Vehicle Index.
February 19th Continuing with the Italian vehicles, we've created a new index covering the Breda 51 & 52 90/53 Self-Propelled Gun Truck.
February 17th   We've received the February 2022 issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine and it contains the article "Herding Cats" by Louise Limb, which covers the Series IIA Land Rover "Pink Panther" Patrol Vehicle.
February 14th If you're into Italian WWII vehicles, you'll be happy with our latest addition: A vehicle index covering the Lancia 3 Ro 100/17 Self-Propelled Gun Truck.
February 12th We're still on Italian vehicles.  Today we've posted a new vehicle index covering the Lancia 3 Ro 90/53 Self-Propelled Gun Truck.
February 10th Two more model kits have been announced.  They are Hobby Boss' 1/35 M1070 Gun Truck (8552) and Trumpeter's 1/35 15U175 TEL of RS-12M1 Topol-M ICBM (01082).
February 9th E.T. Model has announced the following 1/35 products: SdKfz 234 Large Diameter Weighted Wheels (Type 5) (P35-105), SdKfz 234 Large Diameter Weighted Wheels (Type 6) (P35-106), SdKfz 234 Large Diameter Weighted Wheels (Type 7) (P35-107) and SdKfz 234 Large Diameter Weighted Wheels (Type 8) (P35-108).
February 8th Today we've added a new vehicle index covering the Fiat 634N 102/35 Self-Propelled Gun Truck.
February 6th More hobby modeling products have been announced.  They are Archer Fine Transfers' 1/35 Jeep Instruments and Placards (AR35519) and Schwimmwagen, Kübelwagen and Kettenkrad Instruments and Placards (AR35520); and FC Model Trend's 1/24 SAS Jeep Conversion (24424), for the Italeri Kit.
February 5th It's been awhile since we posted content covering "new" vehicles.  Well, the wait is over with the unveiling of the Italian SPA 9000C Self-Propelled Gun Truck Index.
January 29th On this cold and overcast Saturday I decided to hunker down in the bunker and do some deep digging for content.  Well, I was rewarded with finding some pics of the prototype vehicles in the M8 Greyhound Armored Car and M20 Utility Car series.  I found a photo of the T22E2 AC, T26 Utility and T69 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage, which I posted in the applicable vehicle index.  
January 28th Today ends "Mutt-Mania" (for the time being).  I've added a number of additional photos to the vehicle indices covering the M151 and M151A1 versions.
January 27th Back to the Mutt again.  Today we've added more pics of the M151A2 TOW Armed Mutt and TOW Ammunition Carrier.  You can use the following link to the "normal" M151A2 Mutt Index to view them.
January 24th WarWheels Jack-of-All-Trades, Don Allen presents his book review of "US Army Signal Vehicles 1941-1945", published by WW sponsor Casemate Publishers.
January 22nd While we're on the "Mutt", we've posted a few more photos of the M825 Mutt with 106mm Recoilless Rifle.

January 15th A couple more hobby model products showed up since yesterday.  They are FC Model Trend's 1/48 Humber Mark IV Armored Car Weighted Wheels (48482) and W-Model's 1/35 resin FH77BW L52 Archer Model Kit (W08).
January 14th The kits keep coming.  Here's a list of model kits just announced.  They are, Copper State Models’ 1/35 French Armored Car (Renault) Model 1914 (Type ED) Armored Car Model Kit (35013); FC Model Trend’s 1/72 Morris Light Reconnaissance Car Model Kit (72461); and Hobby Boss’ 1/35 Coyote TSV (Tactical Support Vehicle) Model Kit (84522), which was first announced a few years ago.
