| Miscellaneous Info: | The Austrian Military Version is called the "Puch G" and the German version is called the "G-Wagen" and/or "Wolf" (shortened from Geländewagen, or cross-country vehicle). The French firm Peugeot also produced a vehicle heavily based upon the design, designated the P4 Vehicule Leger Tout-Terrain (VLTT). The G-Wagen design comes in a variety of versions including long & short wheel based vehicles, soft/hard topped as well as custom fitted for Special Forces use. Examples of that type of vehicle are the Austrian Sandviper SOV, German Serval AGF, French Panhard VPS 1 and the USMC's Interim Fast Attack Vehicle (IFAV). |
