Miscellaneous Info:	The successor to the Pandur 1 Armored Wheeled Vehicle Series, the Pandur 2 has an improved hull, engine and transmission.  The Pandur 2 is available with 6x6 and 8x8 drive trains and can be fielded in numerous variants/vehicles including Ambulance, Anti-Tank Guided Weapon Carrier, Armored Personnel Carrier, Cargo Carrier, Command, Driver Training, Fire Support, Forward Observer, Infantry Fighting Vehicle, NBC Detection and Reconnaissance.  Although not normally amphibious, the Pandur 2 is also available in that configuration if required.  A major production sub-variant of this vehicle is the Pandur 2 8x8 CZ (Czechia) Series.  At present (2025), many Pandur 2 vehicles still serve in a multitude of countries. However, the Pandur EVO Series has succeeded it on the production line.
