Only two T8 armored cars
were completed, with registration numbers USA W1307 and W1308. There is
some information available stating that armored body of Car W1307 was
later used to build the only
T9 Armored
Car produced, but we are not sure if that is accurate.
The T8 cars were similar to the T6-4WD, T6, T7, T9 and T10 Armored Cars as they were all based on an automobile or truck chassis and armored and built by the U.S. Quartermaster Corps, Holabird Depot, Maryland. |
