Today we only have a small update for you.  One hobby modeling product has been announced by Minor Model; a set of 1/35 Tire Chains for the German Sdkfz 232 8-wheeled armored car series (AVM35046) that is created for the AFV Club model kits.

Patrick was lucky enough to get a review copy of James Lyles' brand-spankin' new book "Gun Trucks in Vietnam: Have Guns" will travel.  Check out his review if you're at all interested in these awesome beasts.

Also, we have two more hobby modeling product announced.  The first is the Black Dog 1/35 M977 HEMMTT "Gun Truck" Conversion (T35071) for the Italeri model kit and the second is by Model Miniature, a 1/72 resin model kit of the M462 Abir Memugan Patrol Vehicle (MM-R072). 

Today we've finally filled a hole in our "collection" by adding a vehicle index of the German Sdfkz 231/232/263 6-Wheeled Armored Car series.

Speaking of German Panzerspahwagen, AFV Club (WW Sponsor) has announced a new model kit: their 1/35 Sd.Kfz.263 Panzerfunkwagen (Radio) Armored Car (AF35263). 

Wayne Cassell is back with photos of his 1/35 Trumpeter Spanish VRC-105 Centauro Tank Destroyer model kit.

Also, we have some vehicle reference books that have been announced by Tankograd Publishing.  These include  "ATF Dingo 2 - Protected Vehicle" (5037) written by noted author (and occassional WW Contributor) Ralph Zwilling and "Jackal High Mobility Weapons Platform & Coyote Tactical Support Vehicle - Light"  (9019) authored by Carl Schulze. 

And finally, one hobby modeling product has been announced: Miniarm's 1/35 BTR-60PB Road Wheel Set (B35072) for the Trumpeter model kit. 

AMPS Chicagoland model club member Dan O'Connor has sent us some photos of replica German WWII vehicles including the Sdkfz 231 Panzerspahwagen 8-Rad and Sdkfz 247 Ausf B. 4-Rad (with added vehicle index) armored cars.

Today, we have only one small update; the announcement of a limited run 1/35 resin model kit of the Shorland Mark 3 APC by the company ALX35.  The Shorland will represent a Portuguese Guarda Nacional Republicana (GNR) intervention unit vehicle.  To see photos and video of the model, go to Clive Elliott's The Shorland Site.

We have the final 3 sets of photos from Patrick's visit to the AM General plant a few weeks ago.  These photos show a refurbished M998 "legacy" Humvee, an M1151 ECV destined for Saudi Arabia and an Afghan M1152 ECV "Gun Truck".

Today we have some interesting photos of the Willys-Overland XM151 prototype vehicle which was created as a result of the US Government's request for a 'new' Jeep to follow up the M38A1 series.

Since we're on a kick with models, I've posted more of Eduardo's photos; these of the 1/35 Italeri Camionetta Desertica "Sahariana" with 47/32 Cannon and 1/35 Izorsky-Fiat Armored Car.

Wayne Cassell is back with more model photos, today submitting some of his 1/35 Trumpeter Canadian/UN Cougar AVGP and LAV III APC.

And I just got some great news for those of us who are interested in US Vietnam-Era Gun Trucks. James Lyles, the author of volumes 1 & 2 of The Hard Ride - Vietnam Gun Trucks " is coming out with a third book about them titled "Gun Trucks in Vietnam: Have Guns, Will Travel", due in June.  Stay tuned. 

A couple weeks ago when Patrick attended the 2012 AMPS International Show and Convention, he was also able to get a tour of the AM General Military Assembly Plant in Mishawaka, Indiana USA.  Although during most of the tour he could not take photos, there were a few opportunities to do so and we will be posting them here in the next few days.  The first installment consists of photos of the more hard to reach areas of M1151 series of Humvees, including the Chassis and some cross sectioned run flat tires/wheels.   A special thanks to John W. and the folks at AM General for the awesome tour!

Finally, another hobby modeling product has been announced by DEF Model:, their 1/35 Buffalo 6x6 MPCV Michelin XZL Sagged Wheel  Set (DW35035) for the Bronco Model kit.

New Argentine contributor Eduardo Mamoretti has sent us some photos of his 1/35 Japanese Sumida M2953 rail armored car and his Soviet PB-4 Amphibious AC.

Also, we have yet another hobby modeling product that has been announced by LZ Model: a 1/35 resin Italian CMP Ford F15 truck with Breda gun model kit (35410).

New WW contributor Wayne Cassell has sent us photos of his 1/35 Hobby Boss LAV-150 Commando with 90mm Cockerill Gun model.

Also, a few more modeling products have been announced including Egys Model's 1/35 VBL Puma 6x6 (Resin) Model Kit and Model Miniatures' 1/72 Hamer (Humvee) Raccoon/Stalker II (MM-R070) and Panhard AML-90/AML-245 (MM-R068) kits.

Also, Minor Models has a couple more 1/35 photo etch sets:  their WWII 1/4 ton Light Armoured Jeep Photoetched Accessory Set (AVM35019) and their Light Armoured Jeep Group Set (GM35014) both designed for the Tamiya kit, but adaptable for others.

Today we have photos of Mac Johnston's beautiful 1/35 Tamiya/Minor Model Armored Recon Jeep model.

We told you were hoping to have more updates to WW in the near future, so here are some more.  First, Sean Hadfield has sent us some photos of his 1/35 Libyan Toyota "Technical" Model.  Second, noted author and Editor of the Tank Masters DE Website, Ralph Zwilling, has sent us some photos of different variants of the ATF Dingo 2, including the Maintenance, Patrol & Security, and Psy Ops vehicles.

Finally, yet more hobby modeling products have been announced by French company Blast Model  including a 1/35 MRAP Accessory Set (BL35180K), US MRAP Radio Set (BL35181K) and "HI-LUX" Special Forces 4x4 Pick Up Conversion (BL35183K) for the Meng Model  kit.
