May 30, 2025 The past week or so I've been scouring the U.S. National Archives' online photo collection for content.  I've come up with some great stuff, including 30+ interesting pics of the Ford GPW/Willys MB Jeep.
May 28th Today caps off the last of our current work on vehicles using the chassis of British buses. So, here's the AEC B-Type 3-Pounder Gun Truck for your viewing pleasure.
May 26th While on the topic of early British vehicles, we've just posted a new index covering the AEC B-Type Armored Truck (War Office Pattern).
May 24th Going from the modern era back to World War One, we present the new vehicle index covering the AEC B-Type Armored Truck (RNAS Pattern).
May 22nd Today we've posted photos of the Lenco BEAR -Ballistic Engineered Armored Response Vehicle Series.
May 21st   The June issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has arrived early and it has the article "Finding Waikaha" by Vance Haynes.  The article is about the author's trip in the 1980's to find a lost Chevrolet WA Long Range Desert Group Truck in the North African desert.
May 20th Although no additions were visibly made on the site this past week, that doesn't mean I've not been working on things.  For instance, I've just completed a major rehaul/consolidation of our multiple pages into one new index covering the Ansaldo-Lancia 1Z/1ZM Armored Car Series.
May 13th While on the topic of the Iveco LMV, we've just posted photos of Czech vehicles.
May 10th Courtesy of the Spanish EMAD (Chief of the General Staff of the National Defense) we have photos of the Iveco LMV in Spanish/United Nations service.
May 7th We've added a fair number of new photos showing the Spanish VRC-105 Centauro Wheeled Tank Destroyer.
May 6th   The May issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has just arrived and it contains two articles covering "wheelies".  They are "A Divine Instrument" by John Carroll (highlighting the iconic Jeep) and "Saladin Surgery" by Craig Moore.
May 5th Today we've posted a new vehicle index covering the inter-war Italian Fiat-Ansaldo 611 Armored Car.
April 29th Finishing off the Local Pattern (LP) Armored Car series at the beginning, we've posted an index covering the LP-1 "Ned Kelly".
April 28th Going backward a bit, we've posted a new vehicle index for the Aussie Local Pattern (LP) 2 Armored Car.
April 26th Today we've substantially improved our index covering the Australian Local Pattern 3 & 4 Armored Car.
April 23rd Skipping around again on subject matter, we've added over 20 new photos of the South African Crossley M1923 Indian Pattern Armored Car courtesy of Stephen Tegner.  The new 22 pics are at the top of the page in the link.
April 22nd We have added a very interesting little vehicle today: the U.S. T11E1 Multiple Machine Gun Mount.
April 19th I'm very happy to announce we have more Ferret Mark 2/3 Scout Car photos from noted author, and long-time Warwheels supporter Lt. Col. (Ret.) Dick Taylor, formerly of the British Royal Tank Regiment. His pics are available on two pages, one that shows In Service Vehicles and the other showcasing a Museum Vehicle.
April 18TH Our newest addition is an index for the Cactus/Crotale P4R Air-Defense Vehicle.
April 16th Today we're celebrating our 20th Anniversary.  Thank you for your support over all these years!
April 13th This Sunday is dedicated to the Ferret Mark 2 Scout Car.  We posted over 50+ more photos of many of the Mark 2 variants.  So, if you are a fan of the Ferret, use the link to the vehicle index to investigate further.
April 9th We've sort of stayed on the topic of "interesting" vehicles, with the addition of the World-War Two era Canadian Wolf 1 8x8 Armored Car.
April 7th Building on yesterday's selection, we've now posted an index covering the later Fiat-Terni Tripoli (1940 Pattern) Cars.
April 6th Today we've added a new vehicle index covering the Italian Fiat-Terni Tripoli Armored Car.
April 2nd David Doyle Books.com has kindly provided some additional photos to us for posting of the XM-706E1 Commando Armored Car.
March 30th   Courtesy of Sponsor David Doyle, we have around 20 photos of the M8 Greyhound Armored Car and the related M20 Utility Vehicle.
March 29th Today we're posting pics of a newer vehicle on the turf via Peter Bryant (once again). These cover the British Boxer Mechanised Infantry Vehicle, just seen at Bovington the past couple weeks.
March 28th   The April issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine is dedicated to the Sherman Tank this month.  However, that doesn't mean it lacks something for WW visitors.  Robbie McGuire authors an article titled "Saxon Battle Taxi" about the British APC, including its use by Ukrainian forces.
March 26th It's been a LONG time coming, but we FINALLY were able to put up some photos covering the "Malayan" Ferret Mark 2/2 Scout Car.  You can find them on the Ferret Mark 2 Series Index.
March 24th Well, we're finally done for now covering "Springbok" vehicles, with the addition of a new index covering the South African Heavy Armored Car, Mark 5.
March 22nd We've put up Jon Bernstein's new review of the Casemate book titled "Eight-Wheeled Warriors and Grunts: US Marine LAV and Infantry Operations, Spring 2004".
March 21st One more submission from Don Allen today; photos of his 1/35 Mirror Models Otter Mark 1 LRC kit.
March 20th Today we have a little "palate cleanser" in the form of additional 1/35 Canadian Ferret Mark 1 Model Photos courtesy of WarWheels Super-Supporter, Major (Retired) Don Allen. Don's most recent project is on the top of the page.
March 19th Still plugging along on the South African subjects.  Today, we've posted an improved index covering the South African Recon Car (Marmon-Herrington), Mark 6.  In this case we've also added close to 50 more photos.
March 16th As things sometimes go, after we post something, we come up with more stuff on the same subject.  In this case, we have some beautiful photos from Stephen Tegner again, these covering the Marmon-Herrington Mark 3 MFF and Marmon-Herrington Mark 4A
March 15th Peter Bryant has sent more pics of "Wolf" Landies from Salisbury Plain.  I've added a couple dozen photos which include a few Soft Tops, more Hard Tops and some of the "Pulse" Ambulance.  To find them, go to Peter's established "TUM" pages on our Landy Wolf Index and you'll be able to see them.
March 11th We're back to our South African entries with a new and improved index covering the Marmon-Herrington Mark 4A/4F ARC.
March 10th Peter Bryant our "correspondent" at the British Army's Salisbury Plain Training Area, is back again with photos he took there of Exercise Wessex Storm 2025.  Today, we have pics of some Land Rover XD "Wolf" Hard Top TUM variants.  His latest photos are at the top of the mound.
March 7th Well, after the last few additions, it probably won't be a surprise to know we've now completely updated our Marmon-Herrington Mark 3 ARC index as well.  So, check it out if that interests you.
March 2nd Again, inspired by Stephen's additional photos,  I've now improved our index covering the Marmon-Herrington Mark 2 ARC.
February 28th   The March issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has already arrived and it contains three articles that should prove interesting to our ilk.  They are "Combat Cab" by Nick Shuttleworth, "Day of the Jackal" by Craig Allen and "Mechanized Force" by Tim Gosling.
February 25th Thanks to Stephen Tegner's help again, we have almost 40 additional photos of the Marmon-Herrington Mark 1 Armored Recon Car.  In addition, I've updated/corrected our index for that vehicle, so the link above goes there, where you can find Stephen's photos also.
February 18th We're back to Soviet equipment for a moment, this time with a new vehicle index covering the PB-4 Amphibious Armored Car.
February 14th Today we are posting an index covering the interesting new Supacat Medium Utility Vehicle (MUV), which we only learned of about a week or so ago. 
February 11th   The February issue of Classic Military Vehicle magazine has finally gotten here.  It contains the article "Cold War Communicator" by Phil Loder. The article covers the Polish OT-64 SKOT R2M Artillery Communications Vehicle.
February 6th Here's a new index covering an armored car you may not have known about: the Italian Gorgona R 2.5 Special Tasks Vehicle.
January 31st Today we've posted a new vehicle index covering the "one-off" Soviet BA-21 Armored Car.
January 29th For something a bit different, we've posted photos of the Ovik Phoenix Land Rover Public Order Vehicle.  These vehicles were previously British Military "Snatch" Landies, completely rebuilt for Police use.
January 24th Back to Russian/Soviet stuff again with the posting of a new index covering the BA-27M Armored Car.
January 22nd We've posted some photos of the Boeing Phantom Badger Combat Support Vehicle today.

January 10th As how things sometimes go, after I post content, another provider contacts me and provides more to post.  This time new provider "FromSalekhard" has sent me a few more photos of the BA-27 Armored Car to include in our index. 
January 7th Moving in a different direction, we've added a new index covering the Soviet BA-27 Armored Car.
January 2nd Don Allen has completed another one of his model projects already this early into the new year.  This latest one is a 1/35 Airfix Ferret Mark 2 as shown serving as a Range Safety Vehicle at BATUS, circa 1987.
